don't fall for "MAGA announces Class War" BS.

this does not come from the heart of the masses, it comes from upper/middle-class business and farm owners who profit off the masses and are now angry that they see the system straying from what kept their profit motive "sustainable." they know that increasingly the masses are identifying and targeting their anger at "the 1%" so they declare "warfare" against the "business managerial class". it's reactionary chauvinism riding on the waves of the settler-colonial history of America, masquerading as anti-"Elite" without actually getting to the bones of what makes the elite "Elite" and makes the rest of us working class, in order to prevent any right-wingers from opening up to socialist policy. it's a way to preserve Capital, it actually protects the "Elite", instead of breaking them down and liquidating their wealth for everyone's use. follow the money, read who benefits from any policy, and decide for yourself if it seems like they're really waging "war" on the "Elite".

healthcare? fine, we'll nationalize certain benefits like primary care visits on the basis of citizenship so long as you're gainfully employed and agree to a eugenicist program- without changing the deeper infrastructure of the system, without destroying the wealth of those backing the insurance industry, all using right-wing policy.

childbirth? look, we're gonna ban every clinic that has dedicated itself to researching reproductive health because they offer preventative care, and we won't give you any better maternity leave or daycare services- but we will offer you $5,000 for every kid you have and ensure federal employers cover IVF treatment.

education? sure, we'll scrap the failed public curriculum and offer scholarships to private school, but watch out- your safety is now unregulated, and what you can learn is limited by private investors so that you become a well-trained cog in the machine, a loyal soldier, indebted thousands of dollars for textbooks that only tell you half-truths. thought the government controlling your education was bad? wait until it's decided by 2-3 stock-holders who are not beholden to any public feedback or concerns.

unemployment? hey, well, if you haven't lost your house yet you can just enlist in the military's endless production and deployment, or if you're on the streets we can deem your encampments illegal, arrest you, and force you into prison labor. at least you have something to do now, right?

home-ownership? you'll be sponsored for a house you can exchange literal physical work to own inside the brand new company-towns across America created by private equity buying up all the property under your feet, and for now you'll sleep in crypto-backed cubicles next to your coworkers. there are countless empty lots of abandoned buildings that could be turned into public housing, but nahhh, isn't living under your employer's roof so much better than those damn commie blocks? at least you don't have to drive to work anymore!

food? groceries? well, we can't touch the agricultural industry- that's the backbone of this system! so instead we'll ration MREs to the public, promote privately-produced state-funded medication to abate hunger pains, pump cash into wasteful monocropping on former National Park land which feeds corn and soy into our pigs and cows, and remove regulations on small private farmers so they're not held back by pesky safety standards or price-setting. bird flu? who knew! $12 for 12 eggs? who voted for that? you!

environmental damage? non-concern. unregulated free market business that can make reckless decisions about the public's lives is the goal. let's pump that radioactive coal into the waterways STAT. microplastics? China's fault. extreme weather events? it's the Elites with the weather machine again. don't worry that your house on coastal land will be swallowed up by the ocean soon- you can just sell it and move somewhere else EZ PZ, right?

social ills? forgettaboutit!! that's solved by creating a militant culture around immigration and "Americanism" which weaponizes a faux-united settler class against the downtrodden of other nations as well as their own in order to defend Capital progress.

gas prices? deal with it.

"END RACISM & SEXISM!" by ignoring birthright on the basis of ethnicity and enforcing cultural standards originating from segregation in order to promote so-called "harmony", erasing a long history of human-trafficking, rape, and cannibalism- nooo, no, that was all only because they let everyone mingle and it caused inevitable "race war"- and women will be safe if they stay in their place- this was all totally justified!

"END HOMELESSNESS!" by institutionalizing or criminalizing everyone sleeping in the streets, in abandoned buildings, in camps, and in the woods, instead of changing the structure of homeownership, that way all that nastiness is literally forced out of your view and landlords take no loss!

"END WAR!" by professing that each new war is the last stand to defend the nation's existence and is thus a necessary evil to eliminate all for good, lather rinse repeat!!!

don't trust a pivot to populist nationalized policies from right-wingers who are trying to catch on to the coat-tails of people who are beginning to criticize the Capitalist system as a whole. it serves the exact same purpose as Bernie Sanders catching all the left-wing energy into a centrist Democratic party that does nothing.

in fact, right-wing campaigns that use populism to grasp people's newfound interest in socialism are famously, historically, how the public gets routed into Fascism. the public face of Fascism, its cultural rhetoric, relies on twisting class analysis away from a material economic basis into a dogmatic and idealistic cultural war.

real theory on "Class War" can define what these classes even are in the first place, can define what their motives and political trajectories are, and define what contexts intersect with and influence these decisions- all analyzed within a tangible basis of lived conditions and rational economic movement. it describes the basis of landownership in law and economy, it describes the origin of Capital profit growth and its predecessors within Feudal society, it describes the processes which every mass societal, economic, and governmental change has thus far followed, and it attempts to place these events into a measurable timeline of antecedents and consequences which can be manipulated for political goals.

real theory does not obscure the Capitalist Bourgeois owning class, the business and land-owners, the top 10-1%, into a vague "Elite" onto which anyone can place their biases and values. for example, to one person this "Elite" might be the Illuminati, a cabal of lizard people, or transgender commies, but to another it could be Democrat pedophiles, the "Zionist Occupied Government", or "crony corporatists" in Big Pharma- and this can be stretched and interpreted in any way necessary to get the working class to latch onto a particular campaign.

obscuring what "class" and "class war" is, serves to keep you in line while feeling like you're reaching something liberatory. it serves to calm the working class and still preserve the baseline of the system's infrastructure. so, do you want to learn what "class" even is and what so-called "Class War" is all about? get reading!↓

« "Class"; A group of people sharing common relations to labor and the means of production.

"In the process of production, human beings work not only upon nature, but also upon one another. They produce only by working together in a specified manner and reciprocally exchanging their activities. In order to produce, they enter into definite connections and relations to one another, and only within these social connections and relations does their influence upon nature operate – i.e., does production take place.

The social relations between these producers, and the conditions under which they exchange their activities and share in the act of production, will naturally vary according to the character of each specific means of production."

the notion of "class" as used by Marxists differs from the notion of class as used in bourgeois social theory. according to modern capitalist thinking, "class" is an abstract universal attribute defined by the common income of its members (i.e., all who make less than $20,000 a year constitute a "lower" class).

within dialectical materialism, the notion of class is defined by ownership or lackthereof over the means of production- land, factories, technology, employees, infrastructure- and includes the development of collective consciousness which arises from the tangible basis of sharing the same type of relation or ownership to the labour process and means of production.

gender and race are often compared to or considered a type of class; they have their own material bases in society that are somewhat distinct from yet intertwined with economic class and exist within class structure. the existence of the working class is created by the capitalist mode of production- land, factory, and business owners hiring labor which they extract surplus value from in exchange for a wage that is merely a percentage of the value produced through labor. similarly, race and gender create subcategories of labor production, societal roles, or property ownership with the justification that these differing natal attributes represent a universal distinction between types of people.

"classes" as distinct categories in a society emerge only at a certain stage in the development of productive forces and social divisions of labour within thia society, when there is a surplus of production, which makes it possible for one class to benefit by the expropriation of another. conflict between classes is founded in the division of the surplus, and constitutes the fundamental antagonism in all class.

in Slave Society, the productivity of labour is such that a slave-owning class is able to hold in bondage another class of slaves who are themselves the property of the slave-owners. the status of the main class of producers themselves as property, is the characteristic of slave society; slaves are not citizens, have no rights and are not regarded in slave society as human beings at all.

during Slave revolts, enslaved individuals usurp the power of their Slave-owners, abolish the slave-holding position of society in the means of production, and rise to the class position next in line as determined by their cultural and economic history, ie. Serfdom.

in Feudal Society, the Nobility expropriate a proportion of the product of the producing classes such as the Serfs according to a system of traditional obligations, which define the rights and responsibilities, most particularly in relation to the land, of all classes in feudal society. although the peasantry, or Serfs, own their own land, and are recognised as citizens with rights, they are not free to change their station in life which is determined by traditional systems based on kinship. the producers in feudal society own the product of their own labour, except labour given under a specific requirements determined by traditional obligations, such as having to work the Duke's estate every second Saturday, give one-tenth of their crop to the priest or fighting in the army when there's war, etc., etc.

as Mercantilism grew upon the artistic and intellectual classes under Feudal society, the Serfdom used the power of Merchants to usurp the Nobility and supplant themselves as workers with the freedom of movement and agency in life. this was propelled by the Enlightenment period of Europe which brought Liberal ideals, such as "liberty" and self-determination, to the forefront of cultural thought. the Merchants of this period used their wealth, or Capital, to develop the means to become the next upper class.

in Bourgeois society, the producing class or the Proletariat are “free labourers” in the sense that they are free from any compulsion on the part of any other person as to how, where and when they work. however, the means of production are the private property of the Bourgeoisie/Capitalists, while the Proletariat/Working-class has nothing to sell but its own capacity to work (unlike the peasantry of feudal society who labour on their own land), and must sell their labor power to the capitalists in order to live. the slave-owner was obliged to feed his slaves even when he had no work for them; the peasant always had his own land to work; but the proletariat is entirely free of these restraints, and if there is no work or if wages are too low, then the worker must starve.

hypothetically, the workers under a Bourgeois society would inevitably usurp the power of the upper class and supplant themselves as equal democratic participants in society, land ownership, and the means of production, as the chain of class distinction has spread to such an extent at this point of history that the Proletariat constitute the majority of the base of a nation. this would be referred to as Socialism.

in Socialist society, a highly experimental phase of transition, the means of production are largely owned and used in common by the producing class eg. Proletariat, which govern society with the express intent to, and organized in a manner in which to achieve- the liquidation of Capital wealth as well as the total abolition of Bourgeois relations of production. private property would still exist in limited form, but under regulation by the Proletariat, which incentivize the Bourgeoisie to relinquish ownership over private property in the means of production via public service campaigns, negotiations and trade deals, and direct compensation for profit loss.

in a hypothetical Communist society, achieved after a long process of Socialist transition, private property in the means of production would be non-existent and would be used in common by the producing class, marking the dissolution of all classes. this is not, of course, to say that there would be no differences or conflicts or that there would be no division of labour – on the contrary. but the means and products of labour would not be private property, and consequently, the conflicts between different people and groups of people would not be antagonistic.

in all these social formations (and there are others, only the most classic forms are basically mentioned above) there are other classes apart form the two basic classes – the Owners of the Means of Production, and the Producers. these other classes may be intermediate between the two basic classes or may be dependent upon one or the other.

this system could not survive without wage labor, therefore the emancipation of the working class as a whole can only be achieved through an overturning if this relation to property ownership.

"Modern Industry has converted the little workshop of the patriarchal master into the great factory of the industrial capitalist. Masses of laborers, crowded into the factory, are organized like soldiers. As privates of the industrial army, they are placed under the command of a perfect hierarchy of officers and sergeants. Not only are they slaves of the bourgeois class, and of the bourgeois state; they are daily and hourly enslaved by the machine, by the overlooker, and, above all, in the individual bourgeois manufacturer himself. The more openly this despotism proclaims gain to be its end and aim, the more petty, the more hateful and the more embittering it is.

The increasing improvement of machinery, ever more rapidly developing, makes their livelihood more and more precarious; the collisions between individual workmen and individual bourgeois take more and more the character of collisions between two classes. Thereupon, the workers begin to form combinations (trade unions) against the bourgeois; they club together in order to keep up the rate of wages; they found permanent associations in order to make provision beforehand for these occasional revolts. Here and there, the contest breaks out into riots.

Now and then the workers are victorious, but only for a time. The real fruit of their battles lie not in the immediate result, but in the ever expanding union of the workers. This union is helped on by the improved means of communication that are created by Modern Industry, and that place the workers of different localities in contact with one another. It was just this contact that was needed to centralize the numerous local struggles, all of the same character, into one national struggle between classes."

so... what is the breaking point? when does the class struggle reach such a height that the increasingly backward structure of capitalist production is overthrown?

"Modern bourgeois society, with its relations of production, of exchange and of property, a society that has conjured up such gigantic means of production and of exchange, is like the sorcerer who is no longer able to control the powers of the nether world whom he has called up by his spells. For many a decade past, the history of industry and commerce is but the history of the revolt of modern productive forces against modern conditions of production, against the property relations that are the conditions for the existence of the bourgeois and of its rule. It is enough to mention the commercial crises that, by their periodical return, put the existence of the entire bourgeois society on its trial, each time more threateningly. In these crises, a great part not only of the existing products, but also of the previously created productive forces, are periodically destroyed. In these crises, there breaks out an epidemic that, in all earlier epochs, would have seemed an absurdity -- the epidemic of over-production.

Society suddenly finds itself put back into a state of momentary barbarism; it appears as if a famine, a universal war of devastation, had cut off the supply of every means of subsistence; industry and commerce seem to be destroyed. And why? Because there is too much civilization, too much means of subsistence, too much industry, too much commerce. The productive forces at the disposal of society no longer tend to further the development of the conditions of bourgeois property; on the contrary, they have become too powerful for these conditions, by which they are fettered, and so soon as they overcome these fetters, they bring disorder into the whole of bourgeois society, endanger the existence of bourgeois property. The conditions of bourgeois society are too narrow to comprise the wealth created by them. And how does the bourgeoisie get over these crises? On the one hand, by enforced destruction of a mass of productive forces; on the other, by the conquest of new markets, and by the more thorough exploitation of the old ones. That is to say, by paving the way for more extensive and more destructive crises, and by diminishing the means whereby crises are prevented.

The essential conditions for the existence and for the sway of the bourgeois class is the formation and augmentation of capital; the condition for capital is wage labor. Wage labor rests exclusively on competition between the laborers. The advance of industry, whose involuntary promoter is the bourgeoisie, replaces the isolation of the laborers, due to competition, by the revolutionary combination, due to association. The development of Modern Industry, therefore, cuts from under its feet the very foundation on which the bourgeoisie produces and appropriates products. What the bourgeoisie therefore produces, above all, are its own grave-diggers."

AMAZON made workers continue shift 2 HOURS after EMPLOYEE DEATH ON SITE in PDX9 facility in OR, managers refused offers for CPR & didn't pay workers as promised after sending them home↓

an unidentified 46 year old man died last Monday in Amazon's PDX9 warehouse facility in Troutdale, Oregon. the worker was allegedly on a "tote-running" shift which has workers carry large stacks of boxes to and from other locations of the facility to be filled. this particular facility has faced OSHA complaints about excess heat and roach infestations, had more than a quarter of their employees face some sort of injury on the job in 2018, and was revealed as the most dangerous workplace out of 23 major distribution facilities in 2019. anonymous employees say that management seems indifferent to these complaints.

when the man collapsed by a still unknown cause, one woman rushed to perform CPR while others were told that they could not help or interact. "just turn around and not look, let's get back to work," one manager allegedly said to an anonymous individual who witnessed the event and asked if they could help perform CPR (it works best with more than 1 person so they can switch out as they get tired, increasing the chance of survival).

the first 911 call was made at 1:55pm and the worker assumedly passed within that last half hour. a second 911 call expressed that the man was blue and bleeding from his head. the warehouse workers stayed on shift for about 2 hours before their managers told them to go home after their second break at 3:45pm. they were promised they would be paid for the rest of the shift. a week later, an anonymous worker says that they have not in fact been paid. a recording of one of the 911 calls is included in the Western Edge article.

Amazon has expressed their "thoughts and deepest sympathies" and says that the Oregon OSHA found the death to not be work related.

"It makes me feel more ashamed to work there knowing that people can drop dead and we have to carry on knowing it doesn’t matter to the higher ups, and everyone is replaceable."
